Now FUCK THE FASCISM is eyeing up more conquests: Winston Churchill,
Otto Von Bismark and J. Marion Sims,
to name a few.
Their objective? To challenge the existence of these statues in public spaces.
The two Chileans, fueled by anger at the legacy of colonialism in their homeland created FUCK THE FASCISM after being inspired through their experiences as sex workers.
They know that sex both shocks and sells.
Jorge and Basura think we should be more shocked by the historic abuses of power made by the subjects of these statues, than FUCK THE FASCISM ’s pornos.
Now, they want to grow their network, and turn the movement global, and they need your help.
What’s FUCK THE FASCISM in one sentence to spread?
It’s a political docu-porn short film series that reveals the history behind fascist and colonial monuments — as well as giving an open invitation to rape them.
Why do you use sex as your weapon? Is it more powerful than other tools?
We use sex as a weapon, because it was — by (dis)grace — through the systematic rape of indigenous communities that our own existence came to be.
We see imperialism, colonialism, fascism and neoliberalism as an ongoing violation of peoples, and of their lands and cultures.
So, we are raping the rapists back.
As we cannot destroy the monuments, we disrespect and humiliate them.
We take revenge against them, empowering ourselves and each other through our queer sexualities and lust.
FUCK THE FASCISM does not believe that our way is the most powerful.
But sex itself is an effective tool, widely used to govern us and oppress us.
As well as dividing us into labels, stereotypes and genders in order to manipulate us.
In the film industry, as in television and advertising; the more tits you show, the more you sell.
So why not use porn to communicate instead?
Our intention is not only to express our rage through vandalism and pleasure; our main purpose is to educate.
We both were born in the north of Chile, in a small city that has been fist-raped for decades by some of the biggest multinational mining industries in the world.
Nevertheless, we met here in Berlin, both being sex workers, performers and highly horny by nature — so the idea makes perfect sense to us.
What exactly do you want to achieve? Is it just awareness or is it concrete actions?
Both: EDUCATION and REPARATIONS.
Colonization must be taught as the brutal invasion and multiple ethnocide that it was.
Regarding the historical artifacts looted during the European expansion, which are proudly shown off in their magnificent museums: we want REPATRIATION.
JORGE: If the “third world countries” do not have the resources to properly conserve and protect the relics, it is only because Europe took it all — and still does.
A good way to start retribution, could be for ex-imperial European countries to finance the museums of their former colonies.
Like supplying them with the necessary infrastructure and technologies to preserve these valuables, so they can be returned to their places of origin.
This would also increase tourism and boost the economy in these countries.
BASURA: For me, the fact that such colonialist and capitalist entities as museums are behind the administration of arts and artefacts of pre-Hispanic or pre-colonial origin, pisses me off; unless such entities are directly conformed by the communities that were violated and plundered.
Down with the culture of looting!
What are your 5 most unacceptable monuments at the moment?
All Columbus’ monuments in the world, especially the one in Barcelona.
All memorial statues to the imperial and colonial “heroes” that are responsible for the slaughtering of the indigenous people in the south of the world.
People such as Francisco Pizarro, Hernán Cortés, Pedro de Valdivia, and too many others.
And all memorials to J. Marion Sims (who earned the title of “father of gynecology”, through his experimentations on African American slave women).
Winston Churchill, a racist asshole, whose policies caused the Bengal famine that killed up to 3 million people.
Here in Germany: Bismarck, for organizing the Berlin Conference (1884–1885), where the European imperial leaders divided Africa between them — as if the continent was a fucking delicious cake.
What other monuments would you prefer to see in our cities? Give us a few examples!
We will give you some names. Whoever researches a bit about their lives, will quickly find out why they deserve to be honored and remembered:
Machi Francisca Linconao (Mapuche spiritual leader, human rights defender).
Bartolina Sisa, Gregoria Apaza, Micaela Bastidas, Juana Azurduy, Kurusa Llawi, Tomasina Tito Condemayta, Anarcha,
Lucy and Betsey (victims of Sims’ experimentations), Harriet Tubman, Josephine Baker, Rosa Parks, Angela Davis.
Wangari Maatha, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Hadijatou Mani, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma;
Toqui leftraru (colloquially known as Lautaro, he killed Pedro de Valdivia); Marsha P. Johnson; Lola Kiepja (Selk’nam shaman);
Berta Cáceres (environmental activist); Hedy Lamarr, Marie Curie, Francisca de Pedraza; Teresa Pla Meseguer “Durruti”, Manuela Díaz Cabezas,
Juana Doña; Nasrin Sotoudeh, Rojava’s female fighters…
We want to see commemorations to all those who stood up and fought against the ruthless European occupations.
We want to see monuments of people who are still resisting and being killed just for defending their basic human rights.
What’s your most extreme action so far? What’s the funniest?
We think the most extreme was in Punta Arenas, Patagonia. We set the bust of José Menéndez on fire while the police were less than a street away.
Maybe the most fun was fucking Barcelona’s Colombus Monument in broad daylight, encouraged by hundreds of people who were (counter)manifesting against Hispanity Day — surrounded by police.
The hottest was probably having sex on the statue of John Paul II, in Notre Dame; though it is hard to say, all of them were so hot and fun!
Usually where we go, chaos follows.
After filming our episode in Paris, the church burned down.
And soon after burning Menéndez, people tore his monument down.
That is funny for us! Ending up in jail after raping Colombus was less funny; but it was just for a few hours, and also kind-of-fun.
Fascism was an Italian movement led by Mussolini, later adopted by Franco, Hitler and others.
What is your definition of fascism?
We postulate that fascism existed before being named.
The white men’s insatiable craving for conquering new territories, and his consequent expansion into empires, was in fact the beginning of it.
In conclusion, we regard as fascists all the doctrines and people who dogmatically impose their ideals and beliefs on others, exercising their will by any means necessary.
What are the 3 (or more) driving forces behind fascism?
Greed, Opportunism, Oppression, White Supremacy, Authoritarianism, Ignorance, Fear.
At the moment, there is a growing “cancel culture” movement, especially in Universities.
Does FUCK THE FASCISM you want to erase cultural memories by destroying monuments? Or do you want to change them?
In order to build new positive ideals, it is necessary to destroy everything that exalts the erroneous ideas of what a hero is.
We think these fascist/colonial monuments should be put down, but the history of what they did shouldn’t be erased — on the contrary, it should be told.
Murderers need to be named as murderers, not as heroes.
We do not want our streets, cultural centers and museums to continue being named in their dishonorable honor.
The fascist legacy needs to be eradicated!
How can we support FUCK THE FASCISM?
We are looking for support and help; people interested in joining us can do so by doing whatever they are passionate about, and using their knowledge, experience and/or skills.
This project started in 2016 as a DIY — no budget, no profit — production.
When the first episode was screened in film festivals, some of them invited us to assist; so we started doing “Conspiracy Gatherings” to find collaborators and shoot in different European cities.
In order to shoot more episodes, we need to be invited to more places.
Therefore everybody is welcome to actively cooperate.
We are not only calling for PERFORMERS, but also for RESEARCHERS to help gathering information, FILMMAKERS to record and edit these actions.
We’re are looking for PRODUCERS to assist us with the organization, MUSICIANS to make the soundtracks, LAWYERS to defend us if we get arrested,
TRANSPORT, EQUIPMENT, etc.

What do you want to tell the people out there, who are interested in your movement?
FUCK THE FASCISM intends to help expose the true story behind monuments which glorify genocides, tyranny and slavery.
We help to raise public awareness about the national heroes who we praise, those men who our streets are named after, and bequeathed great wealth forged with robbery, abuse and blood.
Our idea is to create a big collective net of direct and radical urban actions, to corrupt what’s sacred, to burn what’s holy, to defy authority and destroy the dignitaries’ idealization.
We want to exchange and spread information all around the globe; to use our bodies, our sex and its strength as an executing weapon.
This is an open invitation to all people who want to participate, to film their actions and reveal or provide information about the place where it happens.
This project started in 2016 as a fully self-produced short film and started growing to become a POLITICAL DOCUPORN SHORTFILM SERIES, consisting of EPISODES shot in different cities and countries, with the purpose of bringing to light some concealed historical events and their continued consequences.
